I don't know who comes up with these descriptions, but how do they take themselves seriously? They are honestly called Pirate Leg Warmers:
"These are our best sellers! The Photos tell you why! An Ivory-warmer topped with a stripe of Pirate-goodness! Sure to be an attention getter!"
