hey all...

I'm so sorry about my lack of diligence in keeping up this week. I can say how busy I've been at work, but it is indeed a sorry excuse! We also had Sal's best best friend/cousin in visiting from Toronto until yesterday which was so much fun. Took him around the town, ate out a lot, and then to top it off, my dad got him a ticket to go see the hockey game on tuesday night! Jay didn't have to pay a cent for the ticket, and he was in the very front row on the goalie line! He said it was the best game he'd ever been to - this coming from a huge Leaf's fan!! So he left yesterday and I had to take him to the airport at 6:00am. It was gross - I haven't been up that early in ages!

Then this weekend Rebekah is coming in to town to start making the girls' bridesmaid dresses so that means sewing all weekend. And then sal is back in vermillion sweating his ass off in his little fire suit. I'll have to show you the pictures - they're priceless! But besides all that, not much else is new. I've absolutely got to do my taxes tonight - I've been putting them off WAY too long and I think it's because I'm scared to see how much I'm going to owe! Stupid government contract...

Anyway, have a good one - I'm taking tomorrow off to head out to the airport (again!) It's going to be a nice weekend again so enjoy!

I am loving this weather! Katie and I are finally able to sit outside and eat lunch again in the sun, although the cement bench is still a bit chilly! She got the words Hopeless Romantic written in script on her one side with flowers around it - it's really pretty...

So not much going on this week - there's an event at work that I'm doing photos at tonight that hopefully won't go too long. It's so boring sometimes! Let me tell you how nice it is not being at Save-On anymore...I love having my weekends free and all of my nights off - especially with the weather being so nice! It's supposed to be a whopping 22 degrees tomorrow! And then summer will be here before we know it!

Heard from Megan last night - sounds like she's really enjoying Vegas...and I think they're keeping themselves really busy. Jeaninne, maybe you need to go back when the weather is nicer. Maybe we can make a girls trip out of it and go see a Chip n' Dale show! I can't wait!

Ok that's it for me...I've got to go plan my baby shower for Tom Cruise's new baby girl. Ciao...casey

so it's 8am friday morning, and I'm obviously STILL not able to sleep in on my days off! So frustrating...stupid inner alarm clock...and since it's been a while, I thought I'd do a little post. I'm so excited about four whole days off this weekend! I'm going to relax, maybe watch a movie, read a little...eat a bunch. You know the drill...

Sal and I went to see the movie 'Thank You For Smoking' last night...it was really really funny. And Sal is so hilarious when he's watching funny movies because he's one of those guys who really laughs out loud. Kind of like a male Sarah, but with a lower voice!

So now today since it's going to be nice and sunny, I think I'd like to spend some time outside...since I haven't been to the gym in ages I should get SOME exercise. Anyway, that's it for me...won't be around til next week so enjoy your weekend!

just thought i would say hi, since i haven't actually written anything of substance for awhile!!! i must say, as much as i do love winter, i do love it when spring arrives!! it is so gorgeous out. i haven't, unfortunately, enjoyed it yet, as i have been inside all day but there are a bunch of people enjoying the weather and beer gardens outside. ahhh drinking...hey we should have a shaker soon!! lol

i was at elves today having an easter party! fun fun...and now i am at school reading an article (well suppose to be reading) on spanking...detrimental or not. good times.

so what is everyone up to for easter? i am going to go skiing...get some last bit of spring skiing in before the snow melts, although, apparently the hills don't close till may 22nd so i guess there is still plenty of time. but frankly i cannot wait since i have been waiting for spring skiing, since ski season started! :)

for an uneventful weekend, there was sure a lot to talk about!

~apparently nobody wants to carry dresses anymore at Kingsway mall, unless you're a 70 year old woman or 15 year old girl! And I'm not talking two-pieces, I'm talking a one piece dress! J.Michael, the one you had was beautiful!!!

~Grey's anatomy!! I must confess that I had a crush on Chris O'Donnell once I saw 'Circle of Friends' and kept it until he starred in that crappy movie 'Vertical Limit'. My crush is back. And I'm over Meredith and Derek...maybe the vet will stick around (unlike poor Mr. Pink-Mist-Bomb-Guy)! And George's crazy girlfriend? Making out in the basement?? I don't get it -

~Ralph Klein's imminent departure - I'm not a fan/voter of his, but I will admit that without him we may never have been the financial position we are now. But come on! I think the people have spoken, Ralph, and you should probably take a hike! 55% of the vote? I did better than that in Chemistry 30!

~Ok...I don't even know where to start. I think I actually got stupider watching Pamela Anderson for the five minutes I saw her on the Junos while flipping channels. Was her dialouge written for her or s she really that dim-witted? I've never been embarassed as a Canadian until I saw her rub Buck 65's head in her chest...

~Another guy I've never been a huge fan of was Michael Buble, until I saw how excited he got when he won at the end of the show! So many Canadian performers who are big stars now won't even show up to the Junos (I guess because they don't care?!?) but he was really grateful. That was cool.

~movies: was really disappointed in 'De-railed' and I think I would have enjoyed RENT better if it was on a big screen with really loud sound. My dinky tv didn't do it justice - sorry Tracey!
